The Maritime Museum Rotterdam is situated right in the heart of Rotterdam, five minutes' walk from the Coolsingel and the Erasmus Bridge. The Maritime Museum is one of the world’s top maritime museums. In addition to high-profile exhibits it offers an extensive discussions and events programme for a wide audience.

Moored alongside, in all its glory, is the museum ship 'Buffel'.

Visiting hours

Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sundays and public holidays 11 - 5 pm, Monday during July and August and the spring/autumn half-term holidays of Rotterdam public schools: 10 am 5 pm. Closed: other Mondays and on 1 Januari, 30 April and 25 December.

Adults € 5/groups > 15 adults 4 p.p; children 4 - 15 € 3/groups > 15 € 2 p.p. Youth Pass € 4; children < 4: free.
